An innovative 6 wheeled mid wheel drive powerchair from Drive Medical. The Ideal EC is a mid-wheel drive powerchair with a fantastic manoeurability and stability ideal for use in small homes or where space is restricted and obstacles are abundant.
The Ideal EC powerchair has much the same range of accessories as the other Drive powerchairs, including a comfy reclining seat with a high level of padding and height adjustment. It has moulded PU armrests that flip up to make getting on and off the powerchair easy. The armrests are also adjustable by height, width and angle to ensure support and comfort. The footplate has similar levels of adjustment and is flip up making sitting back on the chair simple. The footplate height and angle can be varied for maximum comfort.
The ride is comfortable and stable thanks to the mid wheel drive six wheel setup. The tyres are solid to provide peace of mind and avoid the inconvenience of punctures. There are anti tip wheels at the rear preventing accidents on steep inclines or kerb stones. The headrest is height adjustable and can be removed when needed.
This Sunfire Plus EC powerchair will take you on your travels for up to 20 miles on a fully charged battery and will manage 4ph at top speed. The maximum user weight for this Drive Powerchair is 21 Stone.
