The Quickie Tango Comfort includes the new Pro Seating setup which uses a contoured back cushion plus a solid wodden backrest with a supportive yet soft foam that is shaped to suit the contourss of the spine providing extra comfort. It also comes with a pdded headrest for further comfort. Another useful optional extra is the powered recline option providing a higher rotation point that reduces shear allowing the user to seek greater comfort. This is availble with the VR2 hand held electronic joystick controller. Other features include lights and indicators and a choice of wheel size.
The seat width is adjustable, the seat depth is adjustable, the arm rests are heigth adjustable as are the hangers. All of this ensures that the occupant feels safe and comfortable whether its about the home or on trips to the shops. If the Quickie Tango has to be transported, the backrest folds down with ease allowing it to be easily stowed in the boot of a car. Standard wheels are 12" rear drive wheels and 8" front castors.
All in all, this powered wheelchair is very well equipped, compact and of a robust build and will carry the user up to 15.5 miles on a single charge at speeds up to 4mph.
