The Excel Globetraveller Transit Wheelchair from Van Os has an ultra compact frame making it the perfect wheelchair for frequent travel. The wheelchair has the usual range of quality features including half folding backrest, swing away removable footrests and easy to use attendant brake system that can be easily locked into place. This Globetraveller wheelchair is built to the highest of standards as are all Van Os Medical wheelchairs.
This wheelchair is available with large or standard rear wheels. If the wheelchair is used primarily indoors the standard wheels are suitable. For users who may be outside more often and have to negotiate the odd step or kerb, the 12" rear wheels may be preferred. Please use the drop down menu above to select the preferred wheel size.
At just 8.9Kgs this really is one of the lightest transit wheelchairs on the market ! Please note this is based on the smaller 8" wheel version.
