Great new rollator from Z-TEC

Its not often that we get to review a product that is not a wheelchair but this time it’s a great new rollator from wheelchair manufacturers Z-Tec. Although Z-Tech offer a range of mobility products, they are possibly best known for their transit and self propelled wheelchairs that have been strong sellers for a long time.



The all new offering is the Z-Tech lite rollator and its called the Lite because it really is a very lightweight rollator coming in at under 7.5 Kgs or approximately 16.5lbs. Although lightweight itself it is not built for lightweight contenders and will support users up to a maximum of 113Kgs or 17.5 stone in weight with ease. The folding action means that this lite rollator will store in the smallest of spaces requiring just 9" or 23 cms of depth when fully folded.

This quality rollator comes with the usual level of adjustment and comfort and has slightly oversized wheels that are a full 8" or 20cms in diameter. These bigger than average wheels allow the rollator to cope with lumps and bumps in the pavement without problem, giving the user a smoother experience than the older designed rollators with small wheels. The handles can be adjusted with ease to suit users of most heights with a handle height range of between 79cms - 89 cms or 32" - 35". The handles themselves have very comfy ergonomically designed grips and easy to use cable brakes to ensure a stable stance when needed.

Like most mobility products from Z-tec, the lite rollator has been well thought out and shows in the design, level of features and finish.
