The AirFold Powerchair from Drive Devilbiss Healthcare is a remarkably lightweight carbon fibre powerchair designed for users up to 18 stone or 115 KG in weight and has a 17.3" seat width.

Small and portable this powerchair folds easily and becomes very compact for ease of storage and transportation. Weighing only 15.8 KG without batteries or 17 KG all in, this powerchair is very easy to lift as you can see from the picture below.

The AirFold has a range of 15 KM or 9.3 miles from a single battery charge in average conditions. With large 8.5" rear wheels, this powerchair is well suited to use inside or outdoors and has puncture proof tyres all round.

A lightweight carbon fibre folding powerchair

The stylish design comes with some useful under seat storage for small everyday items. The seat cushion is removable so that it can be washed. The backrest is Aerated to provide added comfort in warm conditions. There is a lap style seatbelt for users' security. The arm rests can be flipped up  to make access easier to tables and desks easier.

When it is time to charge the powerchair, this can be done with the batteries on or off the chair. Removal of the batteries is quick and simple and they weigh just 1.7 KG making them easy to handle.

The powerchair is controlled by an intelligent joystick controller which makes manoeuvring simple even in the tightest of spaces. The display shows the battery status and speed. In addition there is a horn for safety purposes. For convenience there is a USB plug alongside the joystick to allow you to keep your phone on charge when on the move.

The AirFold comes with a storage bag which protects the powerchair when you wish to transport it. If you are flying with the powerchair then the removable batteries are Airline friendly. The bag and integral grab handle make it easy to pull along in trolley style when on the move.
