The Days 238-23 XWHD bariatric wheelchair has an extra wide 22" seat to cater forthe bigger and heavier user. This wheelchair has a steel frame to give it the added strength it requires making it a very heavy duty transit wheelchair catering for users up to 140 kg (22st) in weight.

With the usual features this model comes with moulded arm rests for extra comfort,  detachable swing-away footrests and adjustable leg rests. The double crossbar  chrome plated steel frame folds for easy storage and transport. The arm rests are detachable to make transfers easier and the fabric is reinfoced.  The wheelchair comes as standard with a Silver frame and has wipe clean fabric for easy care. This bariatric wheelchair has also been crash tested so is suitable for use in an adapted vehicle.
