A heavy duty wheelchair for users up to 50 stone

The strength and rigidity is thanks to the steel cross braced frame that provides a very strong and stable platform. The steel tubing has reinforced welded joints to help it withstand the pressure of knocks and bumps. The armrests are the new Esteem ergonomic design that can be adjusted in height and slide forward to provide added support and comfort. The leg rests swing away and are height adjustable to ensure optimum comfort and support and come with calf straps as standard.

The upholstery is easy to clean nylon and both the seat back and seat itself come with extra padding. Side panels prevent items getting caught in the rear wheels. Attendant brakes are fitted as standard to assist in slow controlled stops. Both the rear wheels and front castors are solid giving real peace of mind on all surfaces. The 24" rear wheels are quick release and have parking brakes fitted and have an aluminium hand rim. For a big strong wheelchair, it folds easily for transportation and storage taking just 11" width when folded (20" and 22") or 13.5" (24" & 26").
