The Karma Martin heavy duty transit wheelchair offers a very high level of  quality with many features that suits larger users up to 25 stones or 160kgs in weight.

Made with a strong aluminium frame, the Karma Martin heavy duty transit wheelchair has a two year warranty on the frame which is double cross braced for added strength and rigidity. This transit  wheelchair is one of the sturdiest heavy duty bariatric transit wheelchairs on the market with features such as height adjustable armrests that flip back easily to allow transfer, solid front and rear wheels, a half-folding backrest and swing away detachable footrests. Please see image below.

A crash tested bariatric wheelchair

This wheelchair allows adjustments including the footrest height and arm rest height to ensure the user is adequately supported and comfortable. This model has been crash tested so is ideal for use in vehicles where the occupant remains in the wheelchair.

This wheelchair comes in a choice of two seat widths: 20" and 22".
