The Roma Reno Elite powerchair comes with an elevating seat allowing the user to adjust the seat height to suit the environment. The elevating seat provides a physical and psychological benefit giving the user more freedom than a standard powerchair. Benefits include easier transfers on and off the powerchair, reaching of items previously out of reach and improved eye contact with other people thanks to the elevated position. The powerchair seat can be raised by up to 11" when stationary.
Other features include a good range of up to 12.5 miles from a single battery charge, a top speed of 4 mph and 2" ground clearance. To the rear of the Reno Elite there are anti tipper wheels that prevent the powerchair from becoming unstable on inclined slopes.
A highly manoeuvrable powerchair with an elevating seat
The Reno Elite is a very manoeuvrable powerchair with a tight turning circle of just 55cm or 22". Control is very easy using the dynamic shark joystick controller making it equally easy to use inside and outside. The arm rests are adjustable and flip up when it is time to transfer, as does the footplate which is also height adjustable for comfort.
When it is time to charge the powerchair you can do so whilst the batteries are on board or you can remove the battery pack and charge them away from the powerchair.
