The Sunrise Quickie Life Self Propelled Wheelchair from is a new model designed for active users and is available in two different frame types. This wheelchair is successfully crash tested and fulfils the performance requirements for ISO 7176-19.
Firstly, there is the fixed front model that is designed to give the user less play when propelling themselves, making it a more efficient wheelchair for the more active user. The second model, the swing-away version, ensures easier transfers and a more compact size when folded for transportation. In essence the Quickie life can be configured to suit you and your active lifestyle.

With a high level of adjustment the Quickie Life Wheelchair really can be tweaked to suit your size and preferred setup style.The backrest is adjustable through 18˚ from -9˚ to +9˚ in 3˚ increments. The 3 arm cross brace, with it's smaller tubing diameter, not only reduces the weight of the chair, but also gives greater rigidity and minimises any frame flex when propelling. Simple and quick fork angle adjustment allows optimal driving performance achieved by the increased angle range of the castor fork.
Positioned at the very front of the frame, the castor fork also gives greater weight distribution, improving the overall stability of the chair. Finally, the seat height is adjustable in 7 positions to achieve your preferred seated position, the vertical axle plate has 7 different positions of seat height adjustment. Additionally, the camber also has adjustment positions of 1 to 4 degrees.
