This heavy duty powerpack from TGA mobility is the most powerful we have seen and is designed for users who weigh up to 32 stone. Designed with powerful 24 volt technology the TGA Powerpack Plus uses a 200 watt motor to drive twin wheels which helps to provide more traction than single wheel powerpacks. This means more grip and less chance of the wheels spinning.

The TGA Powerpack Plus uses soft start technology which allows the wheelchair to pull away slowly and glide to a halt when needed. This gives greater comfort when journeying and allows more control which is needed when inside where space is tight. The Powerpack Plus has a range of up to 10 miles and will propel the wheelchair at speeds up to 3mph. Once fitted, the attendant simply walks behind the wheelchair and uses the controller to control the speed of  the wheelchair.

A compact 24 volt powerpack

Fitting the powerpack is a quick process. When not in use it can be removed and placed in its own compact hold all bag which keeps the components together and protected when being transported. This heavy duty wheelchair powerpack will fit almost any wheelchair and once fitted the pushing days are over.
