The Ugo Essential self propelled wheelchair is built using a strong steel frame to provide reliable everyday performance. Although low in price, this wheelchair comes with many features normally found on a wheelchair more expensive which include flip back armrests and a half folding back rest to reduce the space needed when storing or transporting the wheelchair. Other features include quick release height adjustable footrests and a lap belt.

To the rear of the chair there are stepper tubes designed to assist the attendant raise the front of the chair to mount a curb or step and there is also a useful rear pocket to take small daily items such as newspapers. For peace of mind the Ugo Essential comes with solid puncture proof tyres that won't let you down.
Built to carry users up to 18 stone or 114kgs this wheelchair comes a choice of 2 seat widths (16" or 18") and has nylon upholstery that can be wiped to keep the chair clean.
