The Ugo Esteem deluxe reclining self-propelled wheelchair is a very comfortable reclining wheelchair with a reclining angle up to 70°. With a host of features and a high level of comfort thanks to its deluxe upholstery and multiple adjustments to ensure the best in comfort and support. This wheelchair weighs less than many reclining models at 19.6KG's. With quick release rear wheels, arm rests, leg rests and head rest removed it weighs under 10KG making it easy to lift.

This model comes with height and length adjustable flip up armrests for easier side transfers and to ensure the users arms are supported at a comfortable height. The swing out fully elevating legrests are height adjustable and they have tool-free detachability to make disassembly quicker & easier. There are calf pads which are also height adjustable to provide maximum comfort. The seat and back rest fabric is nylon which is easy to maintain.

A reclining wheelchair with attendant brakes

The removable padded headrest is an ergonomic design to increase comfort and provide improved relaxation whilst relieving pressure from the upper shoulders, back and neck. Attendant brakes are standard and anti tippers add to the safety of this reclining wheelchair preventing unwanted tipping and to promote stability. The frame folds compactly making the wheelchair just 36cms or 14" in width for storage and transportation.

The 24" rear wheels are solid and the front castor wheels are 8" in diameter making for a smoother ride on rough surfaces. The seat has side panels to prevent clothing etc. from coming in contact with the wheels and the aluminium hand brake is easy to reach by both user and attendant. The gas filled pistons provide a very slow and controlled reclining action.

Available in a 16" or 18" seat width this reclining wheelchair suits users up to 20 stone or 130kgs in weight
