The strong steel frame makes the wheelchair very stable when upright or fully reclined. The reclining action is smooth with telescopic pistons providing support all the way to 170 degrees. Control of the recline function is carried out using the handlebar levers. A padded headrest ensures high levels of comfort when upright or reclined.

The elevating leg rests are both height and angle adjustable and have flip up foot plates that make front transfers easier. By removing the arm rests, sideways transfers can also be carried out.

When on the move, there is a lap style seat belt for user security. Calf pads provide additional lower leg support. To the rear of the wheelchair the attendant can use the brakes to slow and stop the wheelchair. Once stopped, the wheelchair parking brakes can be applied.  All tyres are puncture proof PU for peace of mind. When it comes to storing or transporting this reclining wheelchair it folds with ease making it easier to lift into the car boot or storage facility.
