The Drive Medical XS aluminium transit wheelchair is a well equipped wheelchair with many items that have a quick release facility making it very transport friendly. Well made and sturdy, this wheelchair suits users up to 18 stone in weight and is available in either red or blue.
The XS aluminium transit wheelchair folds easily for storage or transportation. It has footrests that swing in and out making transfers on and off the wheelchair easier, there are flip-up under desk style armrests, a half-folding backrest and removable arms plus quick-release footrests. The back rest can be tension adjusted for comfort and is padded as is the wheelchair seat cushion.
