Details
This forearm walker from Dash Rehab is a lightweight wheeled walker that helps users to maintain an upright posture and promotes healthier mobility. The key advantage of a forearm walker is that the user is able to get more support higher up the body which tends to increase support and reduce stooping. A forearm walker also reduces strain on the wrists and hands which makes it ideal for those with reduced dexterity.
Also referred to as forearm rollators, the Dash is made from lightweight yet strong aluminium and is designed for users up to 21 stone or 136kgs in weight. The handles are height adjustable with 9 positions available and have comfortable shaped moulded pads to provide support for your forearms. The brakes are within easy reach and should be used to control the walker and stop where necessary.

When it's time to rest the locking brakes can be engaged so you can use the seat and backrest allowing you to sit down. In front of the seat there is a useful storage bag that can be removed once you reach your destination. A walking stick holder is included and allows you to take your stick with you. All wheels are solid and the front wheels swivel allowing you to manoeuvre with ease.
Intended for use indoors and out the Dash forearm walker is easy to use and when it's not required can be folded with relative ease by lifting the centre of the seat. Weighing just 8.4kgs or 18.7lbs this walker is lightweight so you can lift it into a car, or on a train or bus.
