Details
This ultra-lightweight transit wheelchair from Esteem represents very good value for money and provides a lot of features at a low price. Previously only available as a self-propelled model, the Eclipse has a proven history of being very reliable.
The key feature of the Eclipse transit model is the weight which makes it very easy to use and to lift when it comes to transporting the wheelchair or stowing it away. The powder coated aluminium frame folds with ease making it suitable to go in the car boot or on the train when it’s time to travel. The arm rests, foot rests and wheels can all be removed.
An ultra-lightweight folding transit
This attractive transit wheelchair comes with many features that are designed to provide maximum comfort and support. The arm rests flip up, making side transfers to and from the wheelchair easier, as do the foot rests and there are attendant brakes on the handles. The rear wheels are quick release making the chair more compact for storage.
The half folding back reduces the space required further and allows the wheelchair to fold down to just 13" wide. When all the detachable parts are removed, the carry weight is just 6.9kgs making it very light to lift. To the rear of the wheelchair there is a seat back pocket that can be accessed by the attendant for the storage of small items.
