The Karma Ergo 125 TALL self propelled wheelchair has been specially manufactured for taller people by increasing the seat depth and seat height giving tall people improved support and comfort levels.

Based on the hugely popular Ergo 125 series, this manual self propelled model is built around a strong lightweight frame that uses aircraft grade aluminium. The frame includes double cross braces that make it strong and durable. Packed with innovative features this wheelchair includes flip back arm rests, attendants slowing brakes and quick release rear wheels.

Available in 18" and 20" seat widths this tall wheelchair has detachable upholstery and the patented Ergo seat system which helps promote good posture making it comfortable for longer. The seat and backrest are made from Aegis microbe shield fabric which is easy to clean and to keep a bacteria free environment.

A crash tested wheelchair for taller users

The swing out / in foot rests make transfers on and off the wheelchair far easier. They can also be removed for transport and storage making the wheelchair very light. Once the rear wheels have been removed the chair weighs just 8.9 kg's making it very easy to lift and compact to store. The seat back is half folding which makes this chair even more compact.

The hand rims are ergonomically designed and kinder to the hands than some wheelchair rims. The attendant brakes make controlling, slowing and stopping the wheelchair easy. At the rear of the wheelchair there are stepper tubes that assist the attendant when lifting the front of the chair for curbs or single steps. All tyres are puncture proof for total peace of mind when you are out and about. All in all, this Karma wheelchair is ideal if you find regular sized wheelchairs a bit small and short on leg length.
