This Avant transit wheelchair is a reliable crash tested model from Roma Medical and possesses many features generally associated with a more expensive model.

Built with a strong steel frame, the Roma Avant has puncture proof rear tyres, flame retardant upholstery and a user seat belt.

The front castors are wide profile which help when the wheelchair is on a loose surface such as gravel. The rear wheels are 12" helping to make the chair more maneuverable. The arm pads are removable to assist when working at a desk and the seat back folds down reducing the height for easy storage.

The foot plates swivel upwards and the leg rests swivel outwards making it easier for the user to stand. All in all, this transit wheelchair is a solid and sturdy model that will give many years of reliable service and suits users up to 114 KG or 18 stone.
