The all new Ugo Atlas transit wheelchair is a great heavy duty wheelchair designed for the larger user that weighs up to 28.5 stone or 31.5 stone (26" seat width only). Built around a steel frame the Atlas is a strong transit wheelchair that is available in 4 seat widths (20", 22", 24" and 26") allowing plenty of space to make the larger user comfortable.

This bariatric wheelchair comes with many features designed to make it safe and practical which include; puncture proof solid tyres all round, removable arm rests to make side transfers easier and quick release height adjustable foot rests. The super strong double cross braced steel frame includes stepper tubes to the rear, to assist the attendant in raising the front wheels to mount a curb stone or single step, and there is also a storage pocket on the back rest.

A lap/seat belt is fitted for added user security and calf straps are included on the leg rests and the vinyl upholstery is easy to clean with a wipe down finish. When you wish to fold the wheelchair it collapses with ease and folds away to just 12" wide making it easy to store or when being transported.
