The Z-Tec 600-690 heavy duty / bariatric wheelchair is an extra wide steel self-propelled wheelchair designed for users up to 24 stone or 150 KG in weight.

This heavy-duty wheelchair is built around a strong steel double cross brace folding frame for extra strength and rigidity and will provide reliable use for larger users withstanding everyday knocks and bumps. Other enhancements include puncture proof wheels all round 2" wide front castors and ergonomically designed hand rims for comfortable use.

To the rear of the chair there are attendant brakes which assist the carer in slowing and stopping the wheelchair. The 60cm or 24" rear mag wheels give this heavy duty wheelchair a really unique look and make it one of the more desirable bariatric wheelchairs.

Features of this heavy duty wheelchair include removable under desk armrests that allow you to work comfortably at a desk without having to stretch. It comes with swing away height adjustable and removable aluminium footrests.  A lap style seat belt is also for added user security. The upholstery is padded on both the seat and seat back and there are calf straps for user comfort.
